Creativity. Adventure
- I often introduce myself as a “Jack of all trades, Master of none,” a fitting description for a life defined by curiosity about the world. My relationship with art began as a quiet relief during my engineering exams—a hobby my father advised against making a career, yet one that became a constant, spiritual thread throughout my life.
- Driven by a love for the vast spectrum of cultures, methodologies of devotion, elements and terrain, I am inspired to follow a lifelong path of learning – my guiding force for growth. I recently obtained a formal degree in Art History and Visual Art.
A Journey of Service
For fifteen years, I worked across diverse environments in Austin, from Hospice to Razorfish (Microsoft). I discovered that the most fulfilling aspect of every role was the opportunity to help others. This calling sparked my entrepreneurial journey:
- Indigo Creations (2004): Established to donate 10% of artwork proceeds to the homeless in Austin6.
- org (2010): Founded with my son to pledge 20% of profits to HelpAge International, supporting the elderly.
Current Mission: Thinkfootprints
My latest initiative, Thinkfootprints, emerged from a personal struggle to make eco-conscious choices during a home renovation.
My articles in these blogs are drawn from a personal place. Of experience, knowledge, research and what I deem will help my readers make better choices. From recycled and new interpretations of ancient wisdom by modern day gurus to current scientific research. From the Upanishads to references in articles in New York Times. From the latest facts and figures to epiphanies, my goal is to encourage others by sharing what I have learned. To bring awareness about brands and companies that have strong ecological credentials.
Blending ancient wisdom with modern science, and everyday epiphanies, my writing seeks to help others nourish their minds and honor the planet.
A Renewed Pledge
Entering this new phase of life with renewed purpose, I have made a new commitment as of December 1, 2025. I pledge 20% of profits from Thinkfootprints to the Pacifica Resource Center, supporting their vital work in providing groceries, financial aid, and pathways to housing stability.
